Exclusivity period extended as XRG-led consortium progresses due diligence and scheme implementation agreement (SIA)

The XRG-led consortium confirms that Santos has extended its exclusivity period with the consortium. The additional time has been mutually agreed to allow due diligence to be completed and terms of a scheme implementation agreement (SIA) finalized.
The consortium remains committed to promptly completing diligence activities and concluding discussions on the terms of an acceptable SIA.
Given the scale and strategic significance of this deal and the long-term horizon of the investment, it is important that both parties reach an agreement on mutually acceptable terms.
